There are many ways to explore the spectacular beauty of Santorini. You can enjoy stunning views on foot on the Fira to Oia hike, hire a car or quad to visit famous landmarks not easily accessible by public transport or choose a private tour to discover the real Santorini with a local guide. Make sure you find time during your trip to discover Santorini by boat!
Tourists have enjoyed cruising around Santorini and the surrounding Greek Islands with Spiridakos for over thirty years. Offering both catamaran and yacht sailing tours, you can relax on the stunning blue waters of the Aegean and enjoy spectacular views. You and your fellow travellers can choose the luxury motor yacht “Oceanis” or one of the company’s many sailing catamarans – “Bonita” “Captain Leo” “Alma Libre” “Caldera” “Caldera II” and “Happy Day” for a day to remember.
Captain Leo visited the island back in the mid 80, fell hopelessly in love with it and never left. He decided to dedicate his life to sharing his love of Santorini with others and Spiridakos was born. The high quality of the fleet and the knowledge and experience of the crew means that your safety and satisfaction always comes first. You can choose between semi-private cruises and private cruises, depending upon your preferences.
Semi-private cruise options include both catamaran day or sunset cruises, as well as luxury day or sunset cruises. All cruises last for five hours. The Catamaran Day Cruise (10.30am-3.30pm) and Sunset Cruise (3.30pm-8.30pm) leave from the southern port of Vlychada and cruises to the famous Akrotiri red beach and its neighbouring white beach, where you can swim and snorkel. Then you’ll head to the lighthouse and get a chance to look at caves and rock formations in the area, before entering the stunning caldera (volcano crater) and enjoying the natural hot springs. The cruise ends with breathtaking views of Thirassia island and picturesque Oia (hotel transfers, snorkelling equipment and towels are included, as well as a BBQ and Greek buffet and a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages).
The Semi-Private Luxury Day Cruise (11am-4pm) leaves from Ammoudi Bay near Oia and goes straight to the volcano, stopping at the hot springs for a healing mud bath. Then the Catamaran heads to the old Lighthouse at the southern tip of the island. In the southeastern part of the island you’ll see the Indian rocks and cave formations, before heading to the white beach for swimming and snorkelling. Then enjoy a delicious lunch before heading to the red beach where the crew will prepare you a delicious cocktail before the cruise ends in Vlychada (the luxury cruises include a more extensive menu). The Semi-Private Sunset Cruise (4pm-9pm) follows the opposite route and offers the same activities.
If you would prefer a private cruise, you can choose between a daytime (10,30am to 3.30pm) or sunset (3.30pm to 8.30pm) Catamaran or Yacht cruise. This option is perfect for a once-in-a-lifetime proposal, wedding reception with a difference, a perfect honeymoon activity or an unforgettable private party for any occasion.
